Process

• Invite students out into the moving space.
• Sing the song while students put the beat in their feet and move throughout the space.
• Ask students to count the number of times that you sing “Good Morning”.
• Sing the song again.
• Ask students what the birds are doing.
• Teach the song by rote.
• While moving through space, students shake hands each time they pass one another.
• By the end of the song (A section), students should be with a partner.
• This becomes the A-Section.
• Hand Jive becomes the B Section.
• Teach Hand Jive by mirroring. Students should all be facing you.
• After the students are comfortable, move into partners.
