Our Mission

ACEMM’s mission is to develop opportunities through programs that educate, provide material resources for performance and creativity, and foster an appreciation of elemental music and movement. Our guiding vision is to enable experience of the humanizing touch of elemental music and movement.

ACEMM Offerings

Ignite. Spark. Beacon. Spotlight.

The Ignite Project is a collection of curated lessons authored by the ACEMM Board, complete with Standards, objectives, and detailed process to supplement your program all year long.
SPARK Grants are awarded to help fund projects and programs that support elemental music and movement opportunities at the local level.
Beacon Scholarships help experienced music and movement educators to expand their professional development.
Spotlight Awards recognize outstanding accomplishments, and are based on a recommendation from your colleagues.

Zoom with us each Thursday evening to discuss books with the goal of improving our own pedagogy and musicianship. ACEMM is partnered with Ashland University to offer optional graduate credit while we study, discuss, and fellowship!
