Kris is a multi-faceted musician with experience in many areas and genres of music. She has taught for 23+ years in a variety of levels and specialties, where her students have won seats in All-County, Area All-State, All-State, All-Eastern and All-National ensembles. Kris is a highly sought-after clinician, guest conductor, accompanist, music director, composer, arranger, and technology trainer. She is a Google certified educator, Level 1 and 2 as well as a Google certified trainer. In addition she is also a certified Apple educator. Her educational interests include music technology, technology in education, instructional design, modern band/popular music education and instrumental music education. She is also an active music director at local theaters in upstate NY where she has led over 140 shows. She received her Bachelor’s in Music Education from the Crane School of Music, her Masters in Music Composition from Binghamton University and her Certificate of Advanced Study in College Teaching from SUNY Potsdam. Her major instruments include: flute/woodwinds, piano, electric bass, ukulele, trombone and percussion. Minor instruments include: Guitar, High Brass, Low Brass.
