Vicki Raisley
Vicki Raisley is a retired elementary music educator with 30 years of experience in public schools, and she now serves as an adjunct professor of music education at Charleston Southern University. She began her career by earning a Bachelor of Music Education Degree at Westminster College in Pennsylvania. She later went on to earn a Master’s of Education Degree, with an emphasis on curriculum development in the arts, from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has also earned her Orff Level III certification. In addition to her responsibilities as a music teacher, Mrs. Raisley also served as a cooperating teacher for many students in the music education program at Charleston Southern University. She served as a mentor teacher and as an evaluator throughout her career in the Berkeley County School District. Mrs. Raisley is a member of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association, the Founding President of the Lowcountry Orff-Schulwerk Association, and currently serves on the National Board of Trustees for the American Orff-Schulwerk Association.. In addition to her musical endeavors, Mrs. Raisley is a photographer and author. She resides in Goose Creek, South Carolina with her husband, Scott, and Great Pyrenees, Bailey.
