Love, Gratitude, and Best Wishes for a Happy New Year!
We are truly grateful for the opportunity to connect with and support so many amazing music educators across the country. Your dedication to your students inspires us, and your commitment to music and movement education makes the world a better place.
Teaching With Orff began as a desire to connect with and encourage music educators across the country to share ideas for teaching and music making. We believed that by connecting on social media, and providing free lesson plans and teaching strategies, we could create a true community.
Thanks to YOU, our vision has become a beautiful reality. With the help of our amazing contributors*, last year we were able to provide creative lessons plans, instrument repair tips, helpful articles in our new blog series “Making It Work,” and some fun photo contests along the way! We loved meeting so many of you in November at the AOSA Conference in Atlantic City, and were delighted to hear that our work plays a supporting role in your success.

The cherry on top of the sundae was a direct result of your contributions and your connection to our community. Last month, we were honored to receive the Marketer of the Year Award in Education from The American Marketing Association of Pittsburgh. We accepted the award on behalf of you, our Teaching With Orff family, with love and gratitude for the opportunity to support you and your valuable work.

We have an even bigger vision for 2017 with new lessons and tools to assist you in your roles as both a music educator and an advocate for music education. If you have a favorite lesson plan or a big idea to share, please reach out to us. We would love to hear from you!
With love, gratitude, and best wishes for Happy New Year!
Michelle, Jenn, and all of your friends at Teaching With Orff
* Special thanks to these awesome individuals for your contributions and support in 2016
